I have had around 7-8 sessions with Bahman so I believe my review to speak from results. What I know Bahman has done is completely different that any other massage or body work I have had before. Bahman uses tissue mobilization on me. This has work well because we focus on areas one at time that have had chronic tightness rather than trying to reset the whole body in one session which isn’t realistic for long term results. His specialty of holistic medicine tied in with body work invites the nervous system to relax during your session. This is important and should be focused on when not working with him. What Is Plantar Fasciitis?

Plantar fasciitis is one of the most common causes of heel pain. The plantar fascia is a strong band of connective tissue that runs along the bottom of the foot, connecting the heel to the toes and helping support the arch.

Tarsal tunnel syndrome involves irritation or compression of the tibial nerve as it travels through the inner ankle.

Plantar Fasciitis Pain

Is the most common cause of heel pain. The plantar fascia is the flat band of tissue (ligament) that connects your heel bone to your toes. It supports the arch of your foot. If you strain your plantar fascia, it gets weak, swollen, and irritated (inflamed). Then your heel or the bottom of your foot hurts when you stand or walk.

Plantar fasciitis is common in middle-aged people. It also occurs in younger people who are on their feet a lot, like athletes or soldiers. It can happen in one or both feet.

Plantar fasciitis is caused by straining the ligament that supports your arch. Repeated strain can cause tiny tears in the ligament. These can lead to pain and swelling.

Tarsal Tunnel Syndrome

Is a pinching of the tibial nerve, which stretches down the back of the leg to the inner ankle. In this area of the ankle, a complex mix of nerves, muscles, and ligaments meet; this makes the tibial nerve prone to entrapment, or pinching.

Symptoms of tarsal tunnel syndrome include foot pain and weakness as well as numbness and tingling in the sole or arch of the foot.

A nerve might get pinched as a result of:

Rolling the foot inward when walking or running (pronation)

An area of inflammation in or around a tendon (tenosynovitis)
